A side profile of one of Liz Miller's knotted rope sculptures hangs on a turquoise green wall on the left. The sculpture curves up and out from the wall at the base.
In the foreground is a beaded mask with a colorful butterfly motif placed on a black mannequin head form. In the background on three different walls that are turquoise green hang large, colorful, knotted rope works. In the midground to the right is a beaded sculpture with blue and white circular motifs that rests on a turquoise green pedestal.

“Malaise” presents works by artists Chris Allen and Liz Miller at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts. Allen’s work features meticulous beadwork while Miller employs the repetitive act of knots on a large scale. It is an exhibition rich with color and texture.
